Carmichaels 9/11 services
Mike Riggen of Carmichaels VFW Post 3491 rings a bell in the borough to remember the people who were lost during the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
Members of the Carmichaels community gathered at the circle in town to take a few minutes to remember and show their respect to those who were lost 14 years ago.
During the service, state Sen. Camera Bartolotta spoke about the importance of remembering the 9/11 terrorist attacks and the people who were affected.
The Carmichaels fire whistles were blown at the exact time when the first plane hit the World Trade Center in New York City at 8:46 a.m.
