Additional ‘CIZE’ fitness classes offered

1 min read

WAYNESBURG – Greene County Department of Recreation is offering an additional session of the “CIZE” fitness class to complement its schedule of other fall fitness programs.

The second session of CIZE will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. every Wednesday starting Sept. 23. This session is expected to run through November, although class may be canceled based on participation at the department’s discretion.

Billed as the “end of exercise,” CIZE is a newer dance fitness program that breaks down a dance routine into step-by-step moves. While learning the dance steps, participants will burn fat and calories. The cardio program is recommended for any fitness level, and no prior dance experience is required.

People can attend individual classes at a cost of $8 per session. Registration is not required. The instructor will be Ashley Donaldson.

All classes will be held in Building No. 8 at Greene County Fairgrounds in Waynesburg. Attendees should wear sweat-absorbing clothes and good support shoes and bring water and towels.

The fitness classes are sponsored by the Greene County commissioners.

For more information, or to register for any of the classes, call the county’s Department of Recreation at 724-852-5323, or visit www.co.greene.pa.us.
