Disorderly house charge: Jayelynn Reed, 20, of Reading, and Nigeria Wallace, 20, of Monroeville, were cited for having a large, noisy party Saturday, California police said.

Crash: Police said a vehicle failed to yield, causing a motorcycle to crash at the intersection of Route 40 and Richeyville Road Saturday. Lance Schnur of Clairton was traveling west along Route 40 when a vehicle driven by Matthew Morris of Fredericktown attempted to make a left turn onto Richeyville Road and failed to yield, according to Centerville Borough police. Schnur’s motorcycle hit Morris’ vehicle. Schnur was transported to Jefferson Hospital with minor injuries.

Theft charge: Amy Lynn McIvor, 35, of 110 Main St., New Eagle, was charged with theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and criminal conspiracy after Donora police said they connected her to a July burglary. McIvor was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward and was placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond. A preliminary hearing was set for Sept. 25.

Public drunkenness charge: Cody David Kimmel, 22, of 612 Saint Nicholas Drive, Donora, was charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and scattering rubbish after police said they found him near his home, throwing full beer cans at the ground. Kimmel was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward and placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond, A preliminary hearing was set for Sept. 25.

Aggravated assault charge: Margaret McKnight, 44, of 405 Fannie St., McDonald, was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, public drunkenness, recklessly endangering another person, disorderly conduct and harassment after allegedly threatening to kill her live-in boyfriend with a bread knife Sunday, McDonald police said. McKnight was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward and placed in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond. A preliminary hearing was set for Sept. 25.

Retail theft charge: Leah Renee Cox, 34, of 15 Webb Drive, Washington, was charged with retail theft and endangering the welfare of a child after she allegedly was caught Friday stealing more than $140 in merchandise from Macy’s, 1500 W. Chestnut Street, North Franklin police said. Cox was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward and placed in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond. A preliminary hearing is set for Sept. 28.

Simple assault charge: Shawn J. Kipfer, 39, of 202 Pineview Drive, Canonsburg, was charged with simple assault and harassment after he allegedly threw his girlfriend to the ground, put her in a stranglehold and punched her several times, North Strabane police said. Kipfer was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward and placed in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond. A preliminary hearing was set for Sept. 25.

Knife charge: Nikita Ranae Stoddard, 19, of Collinsville, Okla., was charged Saturday with possessing an illegal knife, North Strabane police said. Police said they stopped Stoddard after receiving complaints from the Meadowbrook housing development about people trying to sell magazines. Stoddard was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward and placed in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond. A preliminary hearing was set for Sept. 29.

Simple assault charge: Tricia Tomasko, 60, of Beaver Falls, was charged with simple assault, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness Friday after allegedly refusing to leave a bar at The Meadows Casino, 210 Racetrack Road, state police said. Tomasko was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward and placed in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond. A preliminary hearing was set for Sept. 25.

Simple assault charge: Joseph E. Tomlin, 40, of 109 Fulton Drive, Venetia, was charged with simple assault after he allegedly choked his wife Saturday, Peters Township police said. Rebecca Tomlin told police her husband choked her after she removed a bottle of alcohol from the couch while he slept. Joseph Tomlin was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward and placed in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond. A preliminary hearing was set for Sept. 25.

Fleeing, eluding charges: Police arrested Benjamin Farkas, 20, of Elm Drive, McMurray, on a probation warrant Sunday and also charged him with fleeing and attempting to elude police, driving under the influence, driving with a suspended license, reckless driving and and disorderly conduct. Police said Farkas was driving west on Thompsonville Road in Venetia. Police said they tried to stop Farkas, who then attempted to elude police on foot before he was captured. He was taken to Washington County jail.

Receiving stolen property charge: Staphun D. Holmes, 32, of Pawnee, Ill., was charged Saturday with receiving stolen property after South Strabane police said they determined he was driving a stolen vehicle. Holmes was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward and placed in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond. A preliminary hearing was set for Sept. 25.

Possession charge: Samantha Lynne Hogg, 27, of Hampton, Va., was charged with possession of Suboxone after the drug was found in her purse during a traffic stop Saturday, South Strabane police said. Hogg was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward and placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond. A preliminary hearing was set for Sept. 25.

Simple assault charge: Donald E. Allen, 45, of 360 E. Hallam Ave., Washington, was charged with simple assault Monday after a domestic incident at 220 Ridge Ave., Washington, city police said. Laura Vincenti reported to police Allen struck her in the head after an argument. Allen was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward and jailed on $25,000 bond. A preliminary hearing is set for Sept. 28.

Burglary attempt: City police received a report about 9:20 a.m. Sunday about an attempt to pry open a basement door over the past week at 150 May Ave., a police report states.

Retail theft charge: Brittney Lynn Kalakewich, 29, of 586 Old Route 21 Road, McClellandtown, was charged with retail theft, criminal conspiracy and criminal trespass Saturday after she allegedly stole more than $300 worth of items from Walmart, 134 Daniel Kendall Drive, West Brownsville, state police said. Kalakewich was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward and placed in Washington County jail on $5,000 bond. A preliminary hearing was set for Sept. 25.
