West Virginia issues 1st fall foliage report
CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) — Forests in some higher elevations of the state are starting to see the transition to reds, oranges and yellows.
The state Division of Forestry released its first fall foliage report Thursday.
Forester John Anderson says trees are at least at 35 percent peak in Canaan Valley and 20 percent at Coopers Rock State Forest.
