WAYNESBURG – Greene County Sheriff Brian Tennant released the following activity report for March.

• The office processed 48 civil actions and served 37 documents related to civil actions. It processed four real estate sales, served papers related to nine real estate sales and posted seven real estate notices.

• The office processed five personal property actions and served documents related to eight personal property actions.

• The office processed 11 protection from abuse actions and served papers related to eight protection-from-abuse actions. Four protection-from-abuse violations were investigated.

• The office processed 153 licenses to carry concealed weapons, one license to sell firearms and one license to sell precious metals.

• Sheriff’s deputies received 22 warrants and served nine warrants.

• Deputies transported eight state prison inmates and made 77 county transports.

• The office performed one special detail and assisted outside law enforcement agencies two times.

• Deputies performed four traffic stops.

• Mileage traveled by deputies for the month was 3,861.
