Officials: Train hits, kills person in Western Pennsylvania
VERSAILLES (AP) – Officials say a person was struck and killed by a train in Western Pennsylvania.
Allegheny County spokeswoman Amie Downs tells the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review that the crash happened just after 10 p.m. Monday in Versailles.
Authorities didn’t immediately identify the victim. It’s unclear why the victim was on the tracks.
The crash is under investigation.
