Fire rips through five homes in Wilkinsburg
WILKINSBURG (AP) – Investigators are looking for the cause of an early-morning blaze that ripped through five homes in Western Pennsylvania.
The fire broke out around 3 a.m. Wednesday inside a Wilkinsburg home and quickly spread to two neighboring homes. The blaze eventually destroyed two homes and caused exterior damage to three others before it was controlled by firefighters around 4 a.m.
Authorities say at least one person was treated for minor injuries.
A dozen people were displaced by the fire and are being assisted by the American Red Cross.
