Charges dropped against former Ringgold High School counselor
A Westmoreland County judge dismissed charges against a former Ringgold High School guidance counselor accused of a sexual relationship with a student.
Judge Christopher A. Feliciani dismissed four counts of intercourse/sexual contact with a student against Lianne Danko, 34, of Rostraver Township.
Rostraver police accused Danko in May 2015 of having sex with a student.
Danko was removed from the high school in February 2015 and later resigned.
Court records show Feliciani dismissed the charges April 1. Prosectors asked to drop the case because the student didn’t wish to pursue charges.
