A Fayette County man and homeless woman, already facing charges for two Rostraver robberies, were arraigned Monday on charges linked to a Charleroi convenience store robbery.

Charles L. Bell, 50, of Brownsville, and Wendy Jean Victor, 22, were arraigned on various charges stemming from the April 4 robbery at the Sunoco at First Street and McKean Avenue. They were placed in Washington County jail ahead of a preliminary hearing scheduled for April 21 before District Judge Larry Hopkins.

Bell faces charges of robbery, theft, simple assault, receiving stolen property and conspiracy to commit robbery. Victor was arraigned on charges of receiving stolen property and conspiracy to commit robbery. They remain in Westmoreland County jail on $100,000 bond.

Police in Bentleyville said they are planning to file additional charges against the two, who authorities believe could be involved in nine other holdups.
