Church window broken: A stained-glass window at North Buffalo Presbyterian Church, 11 Rural Valley Road, was broken by vandals Wednesday and Thursday, state police said.

Welfare fraud: Leah Thomson, 26, of 612 Meadow Ave., is charged with welfare fraud over allegations she failed to report $1,148 in income while she received supplemental nutrition benefits between June 19 and Dec. 3, court records show. She will receive the charge filed Thursday in a summons from District Judge Larry Hopkins.
MONONGAHELA
Welfare fraud: Stacy Adams, 32, of 200 McKean Ave., Donora, is charged by the office of the state Inspector General with welfare fraud, accused of failing to report $543 in income while she collected food stamps between June 1 and Sept. 30, court records show. Adams in is Washington County jail on $5,000 bond set Thursday by District Judge Mark Wilson.
WASHINGTON
Harassment: Ryan Fonner, 24, of 595 Maple Ave., faces a harassment charge for an incident Thursday in which he grabbed his girlfriend and left several red marks on her body, Washington police said. The charge will proceed by summons.
