Watershed association wetlands walk date changed
The date for Chartiers Creek Watershed Association’s annual North Franklin Wetlands Walk has been changed from Saturday to Sunday from 2 p..m until about 4 p.m. The group will meet in the parking lot next to North Franklin Fire Company, 565 Sylvan Drive. Participants are asked to park on the west side of the lot, close to Franklin Farms Road.
Dr. Jason Kilgore, assistant professor ibiology at Washington & Jefferson College, will lead this year’s Wetlands Walk.
Those who would like to join the walk are asked to register in advance.
There is no charge, but organizers need to know how many will participate.
