Theft: A black BMX bike was reported stolen Thursday from a porch at 222 W. Pike St., Canonsburg police said.
No charges in truck mishap: A Maryland landscaper will not be cited for a one-vehicle accident that took place at 8:24 a.m. Thursday in the 200 block of Rutledge Drive in McMurray, Peters Township police said. Police said Eric Crosco, 38, of Oakland, Md., had a truckload of mulch that he was taking to the Hidden Valley housing plan. He missed his turn and knocked down a telephone pole with two transformers that provided service to three Rutledge Drive residents.
Drug, trespass charges: Brandyn Neff, 22, of 510 Short St., Charleroi, faces charges of marijuana possession, defiant trespass and driving with a suspended license after driving his vehicle into Rehoboth Cemetery, Rostraver police said.
Retail theft charge: Lori Phillips, 55, of 30 Belaire Drive, faces a retail theft charge for allegedly stealing merchandise valued at $82 from Walmart on Thursday, police said.
Retail theft charge: Sara Nicole Morrison, 22, of 380 Ferry Road, Bentleyville, faces a retail theft charge. Police said she stole an undisclosed amount of merchandise from Walmart on Thursday.
Assault charge: Anthony Johnson, 46, of 420 Duncan Ave., faces a simple assault charge after an incident Friday in which he allegedly slammed a woman’s head off his vehicle, leaving her unconscious, in the 300 block of Allison Avenue, Washington police said. The woman told police she refused Johnson’s sexual advances at D’s Locker Room in Canonsburg before he forced her in his car and drove to his apartment on Duncan, where the assault allegedly occurred.
Assault charge: Mitchell Logan, 23, of 216 S. Wade Ave., faces a simple assault charge. He is accused of punching and kicking Jesse Templeton, 25, of 1715 Morris St., inside the Kwik Fill on East Maiden Street on Thursday, Washington police said.
