is having a fundraiser at 6 p.m. Friday for Morgan Yoney, a 21-year-old Spraggs woman who has been waiting for a double-lung transplant for nearly two years. As a baby, Morgan was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis, a genetic disorder in which the lungs and digestive system are clogged with mucus, often resulting in liver and lung transplants. A family friend, Lori Hughes, organized the fundraiser, which will be held at The Perfect Round, 1005 Rolling Meadows Road, and will include a performance from the country music duo Branch and Dean. The Waynesburg VFW Post 4793 paid $900 to bring the band to Waynesburg, Hughes said. A meet and greet with the band will be from 6 to 8 p.m. and cost $15, and general seating tickets are $10. Opening performers will begin at 7:30 p.m. and Branch and Dean will start around 9 p.m., followed by a Chinese auction to raise money for Morgan. The auction will include a 1-year membership to Rohannas Public Golf Course. The night will end with a performance from the local Coleman Lee Band. Hughes said the venue seats around 300 people, and less than 100 tickets are left. They can be purchased at the AT&T store at 102 Greene Plaza, The Perfect Round, and 5 Kidz Kandy on High Street in Waynesburg.
