The American Legion Riders of Hunt-Kennedy American Legion Post 639 of Claysville will hold the fourth annual Sgt. Nathan Kennedy Scholarship Ride on Saturday.

Registration for the ride will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. at the legion post on Main Street, and the ride, which will run to Point Marion and back, will begin at 11:30. Following the ride, there will be food, raffles, a Chinese auction and drawings that will include books filled with gift cards from local venues.

Someone will be at the legion from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday to collect any donations of gift cards or auction items.

Registration is $15 for single riders and $25 for doubles, and all vehicle types are welcome. Proceeds will go to the Nathan Kennedy Scholarship Fund, which helps students with tuition.

Kennedy, a decorated Army Ranger, was killed in action in Afghanistan in April 2010.
