West Greene Cub Scout Pack 1600 will be having a cream chicken dinner fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at Graysville fire hall. The menu includes cream chicken over biscuits, mashed potatoes, corn, dessert and drinks. Pre-sale tickets are available for $7 and can be purchased by calling 724-499-5386. Tickets will also be available at the door, and take-out is available. There will be a Chinese auction and 50/50 raffle at the event. Scouts will be holding a food drive at the same time, and anyone who brings in a nonperishable item will receive one ticket per item to use for the Chinese auction.
A group prayer will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday in Building No. 9 of the Greene County Fairgrounds for the 2016 National Day of Prayer. Call Greater Waynesburg Christian Outreach at 724-852-4206 for more information. The group plans to meet for monthly prayers, although dates have not been set.
