Vaporizer stolen: A vaporizer owned by McDonald’s, 1412 Main St., Burgettstown, was stolen from the restaurant’s dining room while it was being recharged Sunday.

Woman arrested: Robin Theiss, 38, of 703 Frederick Court, Canonsburg, was arrested Saturday morning by Canonsburg police on charges of causing or risking a catastrophe and reckless endangerment after she allegedly set fire to garbage and debris in an area very close to her apartment building. Police were called to the apartment building Friday for a report she was throwing items out of her apartment and that she was outside wearing only a bra and underwear, police said. She was arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller and released on her own recognizance.

Burglary reported: Dan and April Beatty of 542 Park Ave. told Canonsburg police a lock box containing cash and seven rings was stolen in a burglary of their home Saturday.

Gun, knife stolen: Tabitha Rhodes of 350 ½ W. College St. told Canonsburg police Sunday a Springfield 9 mm handgun, knife and $23 were stolen from her home. The gun was in a backpack.

Car seat stolen: Robin Daniels of 223 W. College St. told Canonsburg police Sunday a child’s car seat was stolen from the laundry room at her apartment building.

Tires slashed: Makarand Pote of Canonsburg told Canonsburg police Friday tires were slashed on his vehicle.

Conspiracy charge: David A. Ashton Jr., 44, of 125 ½ Union St., Monongahela, was arrested Saturday on a warrant obtained by Carroll police charging him with conspiracy to commit burglary and driving under suspension stemming from a June 24 incident at a township home. He was arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller and released on his own recognizance.

Theft arrest: Michael Patrick Daley, 26, of 416 Highland Ave., Charleroi, was arrested Friday by state police on charges of theft, attempted theft and driving under suspension. He is accused of stealing a car owned by Lauren Olshock of Fallowfield. Police later found the car parked at 416 Highland. He was arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller and placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond.

False alarms charge: Philip Schauweker of Charleroi was charged last week by state police with false alarms after 13 false alarms were reported at 5 Wesley Road, Fallowfield, since June 22.

Drug arrest: Ryan K. Hodgson, 38, of 216 W. Main St., Monongahela, was arrested Sunday by Monongahela police on charges of possession and possession with intent to deliver marijuana, heroin and cocaine and possession of paraphernalia. Police said they found the suspected drugs while responding to a call at his home. He was arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller and released on his own recognizance.

Burglary alleged: Christopher Joseph Scagline, 26, of 1050 Fells Church Road, Rostraver Township, is charged by city police with burglary, theft, trespassing, receiving stolen property and criminal mischief, court records show. City police accuse Scagline of kicking in a basement door about 5:10 p.m. July 27 at 677 McKee Ave. to steal a saw, gasoline and a lawn trimmer worth $249 from Thomas Dennison. The charges were filed Friday before District Judge Joseph Dalfonso.

Theft report: Kurtis Wayne Lowe, 26, of 213 Luella Ave., Charleroi, is charged by city police with theft over accusations he stole a crossbow about 1:20 p.m. July 26 from his brother, Donald, who resides on Crest Drive, court records show. The charge was filed Friday before District Judge Joseph Dalfonso.

Drug possession alleged: Eric Amoroso, 23, of 109 Gibson Road, Bentleyville, is charged by city police with possessing marijuana and possessing drug paraphernalia as a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped by a patrolman about 12:30 a.m. July 22 in the 200 block of First Street, court records show. The charges were filed Thursday before District Judge Charles Christner.

Drug case: Craig M. Okonsky, 36, of 475 Weddell Road, Rostraver Township, is charged by borough police with theft, drug possession, receiving stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia, court records show. Police accuse him of having nine stolen Alprazolam pills when an officer was summoned to investigate a report that he was unresponsive about 2:30 p.m. July 15 outside 33 Fayette St. District Judge Charles Christner issued the charges in a summons Friday.

Drug charges: Danielle Dyson, no age given, of 436 Brad Ave., Washington, and Jessica Nicole Ribel, 37, of 84 W. Wheeling St., each faces charges by summons from a Saturday traffic stop in which North Franklin police say both were found in possession of crack pipes.

Burglary charges: William Clinton Roderick, 33, of 1013 Shady Ave., Charleroi, and Michael David Wright, 29, of 810 Governors Circle, Washington, face charges by summons related to a break-in and theft at a house near the 200 block of Vankirk Road, North Franklin police said. Both Roderick and Wright face charges of criminal trespass, criminal mischief and theft after police said they found four leaf blowers in their possession, as well as bolt cutters that allegedly were used in cutting of locks on the house.

Harassment charge: Jennifer L. Bradburn, 40, of 216 Fairmont St., McDonald, will be charged by McDonald police with harassment and disorderly conduct after she allegedly struck Tiffany Cook, 19, of Clinton, during a confrontation Sunday night at 1139 Robinson Highway, Robinson.

Paraphernalia charge: Lisa M. Welch, 37, of 905 St. Nicholas Drive, Belle Vernon, was charged Monday with possession of paraphernalia after she allegedly was found with drug-related items when arrested on a warrant July 9 at Walmart, 100 Sara Way, Rostraver police said. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Joseph Dalfonso.

Threats arrest: Jamie Jon Harris, 36, of 106 Hurst Drive, Rostraver Township, was charged Wednesday by Rostraver police with terroristic threats, stalking and harassment after he allegedly left text messages and harassing voicemails for a woman between Nov. 1 and July 27, court records show. He was arraigned Friday before District Judge Charles Christner and placed in Westmoreland County jail on $25,000 bond.

Paraphernalia charge: Whitney White Stack, 28, of Wexford, was charged Friday by Rostraver police with possession of drug paraphernalia after she allegedly was found with drug-related items in a vehicle parked at Walmart, 100 Sara Way. Stack is in Westmoreland County jail on $5,000 bond set Saturday by District Judge Charles R. Conway.

Theft charge: Taryll Matthew Skaggs, 40, of 271 Red Row Road, Smithton, was charged last week by Rostraver police with retail theft after he allegedly stole items from Dollar General, 720 Rostraver Road. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Charles Christner.

Robbery attempt alleged: John Wesley Waller III, 33, of 1316 Lincoln St., Washington Township, was charged Sunday by Rostraver police with attempted robbery, possessing instruments of a crime, simple assault, possession of a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia after he allegedly tried to rob a person with a BB gun at a PNC ATM in Tri-County Plaza. Waller allegedly had 46 Clonazepam tablets and nine oxymorphone hydrochloride doses at the time of his arrest. He is in Westmoreland County jail on $25,000 bond set by District Judge Charles R. Conway.

Drug arrest: Rebecca G. Pipik, 26, of 317 Lint St., Roscoe, was charged Friday by Rostraver police with possession of heroin and paraphernalia after she allegedly injected heroin before backing into a parked vehicle at Walmart, 100 Sara Way. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Joseph Dalfonso.

Weapons charges: Robert Eugene Kowalski, 27, of 205 Mercury Drive, Collinsburg, was charged Sunday by Rostraver police with person not to possess a firearm and four counts of receiving stolen property after he allegedly was found with four stolen guns while being taken into custody on an outstanding warrant at Comfort Inn, Route 51. He was arraigned before District Judge Charles Christner and placed in Westmoreland County jail on $5,000 bond. Also charged was Deanne Marie Smith, 30, also of 205 Mercury Drive, on a charge of hindering apprehension for allegedly trying to conceal Kowalski’s whereabouts.

Theft arrest: Scott Allen Tyler, 27, of 226 W. Main St., West Newton, was charged by Rostraver police with five counts of theft and six counts of receiving stolen property after he allegedly was found with four guns, a wallet and gift cards and identification cards belonging to other people while at a Rostraver motel room Saturday. Police said he admitted to stealing the items from several vehicles over the weekend, court records indicate. He was arraigned before District Judge Charles Christner and placed in Westmoreland County jail on $25,000 bond.

Burglaries reported: South Strabane police are investigating two burglaries reported last month at Kopper Kettle, 2 Kopper Kettle Road. On July 23, the office door was pried open and cash was stolen. Police were called back early Friday after the office door was forced open again. A man wearing a ski mask, dark clothing and gloves was spotted inside the building.

Theft arrest: Lewis Kameron Johnson, 30, whose last known address was on Beech Street in Washington, was arrested Friday by South Strabane police on a charge of theft of leased property stemming from an Oct. 2, 2013, incident at Enterprise Rent-A-Car, 110 Murtland Ave. He is accused of failing to return a 2013 Dodge Ram pickup truck to the branch. He was arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller and released on his own recognizance.

Cellphone stolen: Lyndsey Zanolli of Monongahela told South Strabane police Sunday her iPhone was stolen from a bench at Tanger Outlets. She told police that she mistakenly left the cellphone on the bench, and when she went to retrieve it, it was gone.

Fleeing, mischief charges: Michael William Cinkan, 33, of Export, was charged last week by Southwest Regional police with fleeing or attempting to elude police, reckless driving, criminal mischief and operating a dirt bike on the road stemming from a July 2 incident on Courtney Hill Road in Union. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge James Ellis.

Man assaulted: Joshua Speers, 28, of Canonsburg, was assaulted Sunday on South Franklin Street. Washington police were initially called for a report of three men fighting. When police arrived, they found Speers bleeding from a cut above his eye. He was taken to Washington Hospital for treatment.

Money, tickets stolen: Sandy Paul of Canton Township told Washington police Sunday t $650, her iPod and $100 in winning lottery tickets were stolen from her vehicle while it was parked at either Get Go, 104 E. Wylie Ave., or Rite Aid, Jefferson Avenue.

Washer, dryer stolen: Marvelle Robinson of 925 ½ Addison St. told Washington police Sunday a washer and dryer were stolen from her home.

Paraphernalia charge: Amanda Molinaro, 34, of 990 Broad St., will be charged by Washington police with possession of paraphernalia after police said they found empty stamp bags suspected of having contained heroin and two needles. Police said they were called to her home after she apparently overdosed. She was taken to Washington Hospital for treatment.

Two charged: Donna Penatzer, 38, of 1186 Maple Terrace, and Jessica Yerger, 24, of 1190 Maple Terrace, will be charged by Washington police with harassment after the two reportedly got into a physical altercation Sunday in Maple Terrace.

Television stolen: Ronald Hicks of 1100 Bruce St. told Washington police Saturday a 43-inch television and Playstation were stolen from his home.

Drive-through damaged: An employee of McDonald’s, 999 Jefferson Ave., told Washington police Saturday a drive-through order system was damaged by vandals.

Dirt bike stolen: Michael Nixon of 1040 Bruce St. told Washington police Friday that a red and white Honda 50cc dirt bike was stolen from his yard.

Garage damaged: A Washington street department employee told Washington police Friday the city garage was damaged with rocks.

Theft case: Geary J. Shipley, 45, of 159 Crossridge Road, Fallowfield Township, is charged by West Newton police with theft, burglary, receiving stolen property, aiding in a crime and false identification to law enforcement, court records show. Shipley is accused of stealing several antique firearms and a knife with a combined estimated value of $26,000 about 1:25 p.m. July 9 from Henry McLaug Jr. while helping to clean his residence at 339 Vernon St. District Judge Charles Christner issued a warrant for Shipley’s arrest Friday.
