No injuries in city fire
A fire broke out shortly after midnight Saturday at a vacant house on Third Street in Washington.
City firefighter Daniel Grossman said the fire was contained to the outside of the single-family home, on the 90 block of the street.
The fire was reported at 12:40 p.m.
“The initial company that was on scene extinguished it pretty quickly,” Grossman said.
He wasn’t aware of injuries.
State police are investigating.
