Trolley museum offers fair shuttle
From Saturday through Aug. 20, Pennsylvania Trolley Museum will shuttle fair-goers from the Eaton Crouse-Hinds parking lot, 2800 N. Main St., to Washington County Fairgrounds from 10 a.m. to midnight.
This year, trolley riders can purchase an admission ticket to the fair at the park-and-ride location from 5 to 8 p.m.
At the museum, 1 Museum Road across from the fairgrounds’ North Main Street entrance, visitors can purchase park-and-ride tickets, fair tickets and admission tickets to the trolley museum.
The trolley shuttle will run every 15 to 20 minutes and shuttle tickets ($3 per person) can be used for multiple trips during the day of purchase. Children younger than age 5 can ride for free.
Admission tickets to the museum are $10 for adults, $9 for those age 62 and over and $7 for children ages 3 to 15.
During the fair, the museum will have special hours from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. The last ride to the display building on the museum grounds will depart at 3 p.m.
