Elizabeth road to close next week
The Allegheny County Department of Public Works has announced Roberts Hollow Road in Elizabeth Township will be closing next week for a slope stabilization project.
Beginning at 9 a.m. Monday, the work includes repair of the stream embankment at three sites on Roberts Hollow Road between Route 51 and Warren Hill Road. Traffic will be detoured along Warren Hill Road, Williamsport Road, Ninth Avenue, Bayard Street, Fifth Avenue and Route 51. A map of the detour can be accessed at https://goo.gl/maps/ZV1ZtZqQMrp.
Access will be maintained to all local businesses and residents along Roberts Hollow Road in the area of the closure. The work by Pugliano Construction of Plum is expected to be complete by the end of November.
