Man struck by pickup in Washington intersection
A 35-year-old man was struck at a busy intersection in Washington Monday evening.
The pedestrian was crossing West Maiden Street at South Main Street about 6 p.m. when a small truck hit him. The driver stopped and was interviewed by city police.
The man who was suspected of suffering a pelvis injury was transported to Washington Hospital by Ambulance and Chair emergency personnel.
City firefighters also responded to the incident.
