Assault alleged: Joshua Edward Ardeno, 58, of 482 W. Wylie Ave., Canton Township, is charged by state police with simple assault and harassment over accusations he struck John Shadeck in the face at Ardeno’s residence about 9 p.m. Tuesday, court records show. He was placed in Washington County Jail on $5,000 bond set by District Judge Mark Wilson.

Woman charged: Michele L. Fincik, 62, of 714 Seventh St., Charleroi, is charged by township police with two counts of endangering the welfare of children over accusations she left two children, ages 6 and 8, alone in her parked vehicle while she shopped at a grocery store at Routes 88 and 847 about 4 p.m. Sunday, court records show. District Judge Mark Wilson issued the charges in a summons Monday.

Pair charged: Jeffery J. Lehman, 59, of 60 W. Pike St., Canonsburg, and Lois Ann Hamberger, 56, of 103 W. Liberty St., Donegal Township, were charged by state police with simple assault and harassment stemming from a disturbance at her residence about 1:45 a.m. Wednesday, court records show. Both are free on $5,000 bond set by District Judge Mark Wilson.

Two face charges: Karen Rodriguez, 70, of 23 Watkins Ave., Donora, is charged by borough police with hindering, and William Gary Rodriguez, 35, of the same address, faces charges of obstructing and resisting arrest stemming from a disturbance at their residence about 3:50 a.m. Saturday, court records show. District Judge Mark Wilson issued her charge in a summons Tuesday. Wilson signed a warrant the same day for the arrest of William Rodriguez.

False reports charges: Taylor Rajeen Harrison, 25, who is homeless, is charged by city police with false alarms, false reports and possession of drug paraphernalia over allegations she called Westmoreland County 911 about 5 p.m. Nov. 30 to report shots fired and an attempted homicide in the 200 block of Knox Avenue, court records show. District Judge Joseph Dalfonso issued a warrant for her arrest Monday.

Woman charged: Quilnesia Iris Foster, 26, of 417 First St., Monessen, is charged by city police with possession with intent to deliver 30 grams of fake heroin, criminal conspiracy, identity theft, false identification to police, drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia, court records show. Police accuse her of having the counterfeit drug and providing a false name during a traffic stop about 8 p.m. Dec. 3 at Route 906 and the Donora-Monessen Bridge. District Judge Joseph Dalfonso signed a warrant for her arrest Wednesday.

Man charged: Aaron Michael Rebovich, 25, of 204 Jefferson St., Perryopolis, is charged by township police with trespassing and theft over allegations he returned merchandise worth $155 to Walmart, 100 Sara Way, about 4:45 p.m. Nov. 29 after the items were stolen from the store earlier by a woman, court records show. District Judge Joseph Dalfonso issued the charges Tuesday in a summons.

Bar cited: Trio Lounge and Restaurant, 1694 N. Main St., was cited Monday by the Bureau of Liquor Enforcement for after-hours sales Sept. 24, state police said.

Man jailed: Jose Salvador Cortes, 25, of 226 Oneida St., Monessen, is charged by state police with statutory sexual assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, indecent assault on a child, endangering the welfare of children, corruption of minors and indecent exposure, court records show. Police accuse Cortes of having inappropriate contact with a 5-year-old girl on multiple occasions in 2014 at a residence on Main Street. Cortes was placed in Washington County Jail on $250,000 bond set by District Judge Mark Wilson.
