Charges held for court in 14 cases of thefts from cars in Cumberland Township
Dozens of charges against a Nemacolin man accused in 14 different criminal cases involving thefts from unlocked cars in Cumberland Township were held for court Thursday following his preliminary hearing before District Judge Lee Watson.
Chip Riley, 28, of 3 Diaz Ave., was arrested in October in connection with the thefts, which took place at multiple residences across the township. Some of the stolen items include global-positioning units, hand tools, cellphones, cash, cameras and sunglasses.
Most of the charges are theft and receiving stolen property.
