Driver charged: Nicholas Swart, 28, of Washington, is charged with several traffic violations after crashing his vehicle into a parked car in the 200 block of Lacock Street, Canton, early Tuesday. State police said he was going north when he hit the parked car and fled. He was charged with damage to unattended vehicles, failure to stay in his lane and not having insurance.

Harassment alleged: Joyce E. Schott of Washington will be charged with harassment after she allegedly entered the home of Kristen Kropiewnicki on Lacock Street, Canton, on Dec. 4 after being told not to go there, state police said. Schott also reportedly made harassing telephone calls to the Canton woman.
