Police beat Dec. 15
Kidnapping alleged: A 34-year-old Nemacolin woman told state police she was bound, assaulted and robbed of her banking card, which was used to withdraw $500 from her account, by a Washington man, 28, and a Fredericktown man, 24, while they were drinking on South Main Street Extension, police said. The woman said she was unlawfully restrained over 10 hours, beginning at 10 p.m. Dec. 8, police said. No further details of the investigation are being released at this time.
Gun theft: A woman reported a Remington Model 700 rifle was stolen from her car Dec. 8 or 9 on Taylor Avenue.
Man charged: Daniel Edward Patterson, 31, of 207 Park Manor Road, Monessen, is charged by city police with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness, court records show. Police accuse him of resisting officers when they were called to his residence to investigate a 911 call about 2 a.m. Tuesday. Patterson is free on $10,000 unsecured bond set by District Judge Joseph Dalfonso.
Couple charged: Kimberly Lee Crossland, 38, and her boyfriend, William Robert Tate Jr., 34, both of Rostraver Township, are charged by local police with burglary, theft and conspiracy. They are accused of stealing five firearms, a television and a computer from a residence in McGee Trailer Court about 9 p.m. Monday, court records show. Tate was placed in Westmoreland County jail on $5,000 bond set by District Judge Joseph Dalfonso. Crossland is free on $5,000 bond set by Dalfonso.
Drug arrest: Robert Henry Toliver, 51, whose address is unknown, is charged by the Washington County Drug Task Force with drug possession with intent to deliver, drug possession and conspiracy, court records show. Toliver is accused of selling a confidential informant an unspecified amount of crack at Ewing Street and Baird Avenue about 1 p.m. Feb. 18. He was placed in Washington County jail on $50,000 bond set Tuesday by District Judge Ethan Ward.
Assaults alleged: John Russell, 46, of 143 E. Wylie Ave., Washington, is charged by city police with domestic violence and simple assault over allegations he struck his roommate, Anna Durbin-Shrader, in the eye in his residence about 4:45 p.m. Tuesday, court records show. Durbin-Shrader, 31, of the same address, faces identical charges over accusations she struck him in the head. Both were placed in Washington County jail on $25,000 bonds set by District Judge Ethan Ward.
