Numerous people recently appeared in Washington County Court on criminal charges. Among those appearing before Judge Gary Gilman were:
Jackie M. Gardner, 34, 35 Maple St., Muse; possession of drug paraphernalia and drivingunder suspension; charged Nov. 11, 2015; sentence – 12 months of probation, $200 fine and 12-month license suspension.
Ashley L. Loar, 26, 172 Ohio St., Washington; retail theft, possession of drug paraphernalia and theft; charged Aug. 1 and 30; sentence – one to 23 months in jail, 12 months of probation, restitution, no contact with victim and no contact with Home Depot.
Jessica L. Smith, 23, 431 Third St., Apt. 1, Pitcairn; possession with intent to deliver; charged Dec. 21, 2015; sentence – 12 months in the intermediate punishment program and three months of electronic home monitoring.
Jacob L. Tripoli, 21, 6 Apple Valley Road, Washington; possession of a controlled substance; charged July 10; sentence – 12 months of probation without verdict.

Seth T. Skariot, 23, 208 Russie Ave., Bentleyville; retail theft; charged Sept. 11, 2015; sentence – 24 months of probation, restitution and banned from Walmart.

Michael D. Caldwell, 29, 7 First St., Vestaburg; driving under the influence and driving under suspension; charged Dec. 18, 2015; sentence – 10 days to two years in jail, 60 days in jail, $1,000 fine, 12-month license suspension and 12-month ignition interlock device.
James S. Hammond Jr., 37, 271 Buffalo Road South, Washington; DUI and driving while BAC .02 or greater while license is suspended; charged Sept. 6, 2015; sentence – six months of probation, 90 days in jail, $1,300 fine.
Lori A. Ryan, 49, 25 Franklin St., Cokeburg; DUI; charged June 11, 2015; sentence – six months in the intermediate punishment program, 10 days of electronic home monitoring, $300 fine, 12-month license suspension and 12-month interlock ignition device.
Francis Ogden, 48, 125 Bellevue Ave., Washington; DUI; charged Jan. 30; sentence – six months in the intermediate punishment program, 10 days of electronic home monitoring, $300 fine, 12-month license suspension and 1- month interlock ignition device.
Jeffrey W. Tarley, 23, 23 Millsboro St., Millsboro; public drunkenness; charged Jan. 1; sentence – $500 fine.

Cody D. Whiting, 26, 454 Beaver Dam Road, Spencer, W.Va.; reckless endangerment; charged Feb. 24; sentence – 12 months of probation, restitution and no contact with victim.
Rachel L. Gilles, 19, 624 Mt. Hope Ridge Road, Claysville; simple assault; charged Feb. 19; sentence – 12 months in the intermediate punishment program, six months of electronic home monitoring and 25 hours of community service.
Randy R. Coen, 19, 79 First St., Avella; reckless burning; charged Sept. 11, 2015; sentence – three years of probation, restitution, 100 hours of community service and no contact with victim.
Abraham Toure, 36, Saint Paul, Minn.; aggravated assault by motor vehicle; charged March 21; sentence – six to 23 months in jail with work release if approved, restitution, $800 fine and no contact with victim.
Johnathan Shoben, 32, 125 Jefferson Court, West Newton; simple assault, resisting arrest; charged Aug. 16, 2015; sentence – 12 months of probation, 50 hours of community service and no contact with victim.
Cain A. Liggett, 28, 66 Monarch St., Washington; forgery, theft and receiving stolen property; charged June 9, 2015, and April 10, 2016; sentence – 12 months of probation and restitution.
Brad Linhart, 29, 141 E. Wylie Ave., Washington; criminal mischief; charged May 3, 2015; sentence – 12 months of probation, restitution, no contact with victim and anger management class.
Luis Cruz, 20, 92 Murray Ave., Washington; DUI; charged Jan. 26; sentence – three days to six months in jail, $1,000 fine, 12-month license suspension and alcohol highway safety school.
Christian A. Lowe, 26, 451 Fifth St., Donora; possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia; charged Jan. 20, 2015; sentence – 18 months in the intermediate punishment program, six months of electronic home monitoring and 12 months of probation.
Jules W. Redman, 51, 190 S. McDonald St., McDonald; terroristic threats and harassment; charged Feb. 3; sentence – 18 months of probation, 100 hours of community service, anger management class and $300 fine.
The following recently appeared in Washington County Court for first offenses of driving under the influence and was admitted to the ARD program. If he successfully completes the program, he can petition the court to have his record expunged:
