State police are looking for two men involved in a home invasion robbery early Tuesday in Canton Township in which one person was shot and hit with a handgun.

Police said the intruders entered the home on Scott Avenue through an unlocked back door about 2:30 a.m. and confronted the residents in the living room. The two men used shoestrings to tie up two occupants, then forced another to walk upstairs to a bedroom. The suspects woke another occupant and demanded money and drugs. Police said a fight ensued, at which point a gun was discharged, striking the victim in the left index finger. The victim then was hit in the head with the pistol.

Police said the robbers stole $13, a PlayStation 4 controller and a cellphone, then fled through the front door.

Police said one suspect is black, about 6 feet tall, with a medium build, while the other is black, about 5-foot-6, with a medium build. Both wore dark clothing and had masks partially obscuring their faces.

Police ask anyone with information to call 724-223-5200.
