Police beat Feb. 9
Garage burglary: A garage in the 300 block of Mudlick Road in Aleppo Township was burglarized Jan. 24 and two gas cans were stolen, state police said.
Lawn equipment stolen: State police said someone entered a storage garage at Jefferson Baptist Church on Pine Street in Jefferson Borough and stole a weed trimmer Jan. 31.
Vehicles vandalized: State police said three vehicles were vandalized at different locations in Monongahela Township late Wednesday or early Thursday. The first occurred Wednesday shortly before midnight when a vehicle was damaged while it was parked at 382 Stoney Hill Road. Shortly after midnight Thursday, police said a rear window of a car parked on Donham Road was smashed and, later that morning, a truck’s windshield was broken while parked on Water Road. Police did not say if the vandalism is connected, but asked anyone with information on the three incidents to call investigators at 724-627-6151.
Cabin burglarized: A wood stove was stolen from a cabin in the 400 block of Mt. Carmel Ridge Road in Springhill Township when someone burglarized the residence between Jan. 10 and 24, state police said.
Disorderly conduct charge: State police cited Calvin M. Cox, 53, of 386 Craynes Run Road, Waynesburg, with disorderly conducted after troopers said he threatened gas well employees working near his Washington Township home Jan. 26.
