Police Beat Feb. 10
Shots fired: Carl Fleissner of 9 Marie Drive, Amwell, told state police Monday shots were fired into his unoccupied vehicle. Anyone with information is asked to call state police at 724-223-5200.
Paraphernalia charge: Edward Dubielak, 26, of California, will be charged with possession of paraphernalia and disorderly conduct stemming from an incident Saturday morning at 766 High St.
Disorderly house charge: Charles Haverns, 22, of Connellsville, will be cited by California police for violating the borough’s disorderly house ordinance stemming from an incident Monday night at 544 Second St. Jaleesa Reed, 20, of Duquesne, also will be charged with disorderly conduct.
Money stolen: Robert Veres of Canonsburg told police Monday his credit union account was hacked and $350 stolen from it between Feb. 3 and Sunday.
ATV stolen: Brandon J. Bowman of 127 Castle Road, Canton, told state police last week his blue 2006 Yamaha Raptor all-terrain vehicle was stolen from his property. Anyone with information is asked to call state police at 724-223-5200.
Crash: Eric A. Delagarza, 24, of Derry, Westmoreland County, escaped injury Monday night when his vehicle crashed into a utility pole on West Pike Street, Chartiers police said. He was taken to Canonsburg Hospital for a blood test.
Drug case: Larry Lee Davis, 37, of 607 Lookout Ave., Charleroi, was arrested on a warrant Monday charging him with possession of 50 stamp bags of heroin, drug possession with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia, court records show. Charleroi Regional police said they apprehended Davis with the drugs when they served an unrelated warrant on him about 6 p.m. Sept. 3 in North Charleroi. He is in Washington County jail on $100,000 bond.
Assault charge: Todd Lanch, 37, of 1520 S. Main St., North Franklin, was charged by township police with simple assault, harassment, reckless endangerment and terroristic threats after he allegedly assaulted Heather Patress inside their home. She told police they got into an argument and she decided to go to bed. She said she awoke when he punched her in the head. Charges will be sent by summons.
DUI charge: Dennis J. Pierson, 29, of 710 Lone Pine Road, Amity, was charged with DUI after police found him passed out in his vehicle, which was stopped at West Chestnut Street and Franklin Farms Road early Sunday. Pierson’s blood-alcohol content was double the 0.08 legal limit.
Prostitution arrest: Ximei Zhang, 42, of Brooklyn, N.Y., was arrested Monday by Peters police on charges of prostitution and possessing instruments of a crime after an undercover operation at Timeless Massage, 628 E. McMurray Road. Police made an appointment and Zhang allegedly agreed to engage in various sex acts for additional money. She was arraigned before District Judge Joshua Kanalis and placed in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond.
Theft arrest: Sandra Jackson, 39, of McKeesport, was arrested Monday night on a charge of retail theft stemming from a Dec. 2 incident at Kohl’s, Strabane Square. She is accused of stealing items valued at $124. Jackson was placed in Washington County jail on $500 bond.
Account accessed: Stacie Clutter of Washington told Washington police Monday her bank account was accessed at an ATM in Washington, D.C., and $103 was withdrawn.
Money stolen: The manager of Little Caesar’s, 275 Jefferson Ave., told Washington police a former employee stole money by placing cash in her pocket instead of ringing it up on the register.
Apartment burglarized: Jason Thompson of the 200 block of Donnan Avenue told Washington police Monday a gold necklace and 12-gauge shotgun were stolen from his apartment while he was gone.
Drug charges: Raine Ann Davidson, 35, of 161 W. Walnut St., was placed in Washington County jail Monday on $10,000 bond after being arraigned in connection with two incidents in the city. The first occurred Oct. 12 following a traffic stop at the intersection of Beau Street and Jefferson Avenue. Davidson was pulled over for a burned-out light on her car, and police said they found two packets of heroin and five empty packets. A blood test revealed Davidson was driving under the influence of cocaine and morphine, police said. The second incident occurred Oct. 23 at Shop ‘n Save, 125 W. Beau St., when Davidson allegedly had $20 in stolen merchandise, empty stamp bags and syringes. She is charged with possession of a controlled substance, retail theft, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and third offense of DUI.
