PITTSBURGH (AP) – Authorities say two men have been taken into custody and a third is being sought following a shooting in the city’s Homewood neighborhood.

Police responding to a call of shots fired found a 40-year-old man wounded around 9 p.m. Wednesday. The suspects were thought to have run into a nearby building and a SWAT team was brought in.

Two suspects were captured later. The other one is believed to have fled before the officers arrived.

Authorities say the victim may have been injured during a robbery attempt. He was shot in his buttocks and is in serious condition at a local hospital.

An investigation is continuing.
