Southwestern Pennsylvania Water Authority will be flushing hydrants in Center, Richhill and Gray townships starting Tuesday through the end of July. Customers in those areas may experience a temporary drop in pressure, loss of pressure or discolored water.

Greene County Veterans Affairs will hold a veterans’ outreach at 10 a.m. July 13 at Mt. Morris Senior Center and July 20 at Carmichaels Senior Center. Veterans can make an appointment or stop by to learn about services, including pension, compensation, disability, health care, life insurance, funeral and burial claims and retroactive benefits, said Dalene Watson, office director.
