Country music will be featured at New Freeport Fire Hall from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday. Sandy Huffman will perform from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and Larry Santee from 8:30 to 10 p.m. Admission is $4. The event is sponsored by the fire company ladies auxiliary.
Morgan Township Society of Farm Women will hold its July luncheon meeting at the home of Kay Mitchell at noon Wednesday, July 13. It will be a covered-dish picnic. Linda Madlock will deliver the devotions.
