A West Virginia man was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital after he came into contact with a power line while working in North Strabane Township Monday morning.

Brandon Kyle, 35, of Mt. Nebo, was working for C.W. Wright, an electrical contractor based in Virginia, when he came into contact with the line in the 300 block of Linden Creek Road about 9:22 a.m., said township police Officer Chris Wilson.

Kyle was taken by Canonsburg Ambulance to the North Strabane Fire Department on Route 19. From there, he was flown to West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh for treatment of burns. Wilson said Kyle was talking to first responders.
