Police beat July 15
Fugitive arrested: Christopher Smith, 33, of 155 Plum Way, California, was arrested Wednesday by California police on an out-of-state warrant. He is wanted in Miami-Dade County, Fla., on a warrant for failure to appear. He was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward and placed in Washington County jail without bond pending extradition.
Tractor stolen: Debbie Eckenrode, 460 Hayes Ave., Canton, told state police July 6 her lawn tractor was stolen from her property. Anyone with information on the theft is asked to call state police at 724-223-5200.
Drug charge: Jared A. Holt, 20, of 601 Sixth St., Apt. 19, Charleroi, is charged by Charleroi Regional police with possessing 34 stamp bags of heroin while a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped for having a burned-out headlight about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday at Eighth Street and Washington Avenue, court records show. District Judge Larry Hopkins issued the charge in a summons Thursday.
Graffiti painted: Martin Camden Jr., 437 Hickory Ridge Road, told Chartiers police Wednesday graffiti was painted on a building on his property.
Tailgate damaged: Sean Snedeker, 211 Third St., told Chartiers police Wednesday that the tailgate was dented on his pickup truck.
Assault arrest: Matthew Wisnoski, 19, of 213 Hart Ave., Houston, was arrested Wednesday by Donegal police after he allegedly assaulted his wife, Dakota Wisnoski, at her home at 126 Valley View Road, Donegal. He fled on foot and was found by township police walking on Route 40, reportedly carrying a bottle of vodka. He was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward on charges of simple assault, underage drinking and harassment. He was placed in Washington County jail on $35,000 bond.
Drug charge: Michael Noakes, 24, of 204 Russie Ave., Bentleyville, is charged by city police with possessing three stamp bags of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia while he was a passenger in a car involved in a minor two-vehicle accident about 11 p.m. Sunday at Second Street and Linden Avenue, court records show. District Judge Joseph Dalfonso issued the charges in a summons Wednesday.
Alleged habitual offender: Charity Caldwell, 36, of 314 Chestnut St., Monessen, is charged by city police with habitual offender after a traffic stop about 2 p.m. Wednesday that allegedly revealed it was the 11th time driving with a suspended license, court records show. District Judge Joseph Dalfonso issued the charged in a summons Thursday.
Drug arrest: A vehicle driven by Regina Meehan, 22, of New Eagle, was stopped Tuesday in the 500 block of Venetia Road and an officer said he noticed a strong odor of marijuana, Peters police said. A search of Meehan’s vehicle revealed a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Meehan was charged with possessing a small amount of marijuana and speeding, according to reports.
Access device charge: Aaron Patrick Trilli, 29, of 14 Meldon Ave., Donora, was charged with access device fraud, Rostraver police said Thursday. He is accused of making $457 in unauthorized transactions May 11. The charge was sent from the office of District Judge Joseph Dalfonso.
Paraphernalia charge: Dina Marie Greco, 28, who is reportedly homeless, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia stemming from a July 6 incident at 915 Addison St., Webster, Rostraver police said Thursday. She also was charged with burglary, theft and criminal trespass stemming from a June 19 incident at 448 Rankin Road. Also charged in the burglary was Jordan Lee Yonkers, 28, who is also homeless. The charges were filed at the office of District Judge Joseph Dalfonso.
Theft, receiving charges: Brian Edward Lyon, 34, who has no known address, was charged with theft and receiving stolen property stemming from a July 1 incident at Walmart, 100 Sara Way, Rostraver police said Thursday. The charges were filed at the office of District Judge Joseph Dalfonso.
Drug charges: Adam Edward Lilliock, 35, of 321 N. Fourth St., West Newton, was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance stemming from a June 24 incident at Med Express, Rostraver Road, Rostraver police said Thursday. The charges were filed at the office of District Judge Joseph Dalfonso.
Paraphernalia, drunkenness charges: Jason Coy Holbrook, 46, of 198 Markle Road, Belle Vernon, was charged with possession of paraphernalia and public drunkenness stemming from a Saturday incident at 1016 Henry St., Rostraver police said Thursday. The charges were filed at the office of District Judge Charles Christner.
Tho charged: Sheri Lyn Cyr, 39, of 1203 Upper Meadow Ave., Charleroi, and Jessica Marie Polonoli, 28, 1107 Second St., Fayette City, were charged with retail theft for allegedly stealing items from Gabriel Brothers, 158 Finley Road, on July 5, Rostraver police said Thursday. Polonoli also was charged with possession of paraphernalia and a controlled substance. The charges were filed at the office of District Judge Charles Christner.
Gun stolen: Mark Vester, 609 Penn Ave., told Washington police Wednesday his .22-caliber Beretta handgun and black nylon holster were stolen from the console of his vehicle.
