Numerous people recently appeared in Washington County on criminal charges. Appearing before Judge Gary Gilman:

Cody D. Jeffers, 32, 1073 Addison St., Washington; possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Jan. 2; sentence – 12 months of Probation Without Verdict program and 40 hours of community service.

Curtis A. Arnold, 46, 111 McKean Ave., Donora; flight to avoid apprehension and driving with a suspended license; charged Oct. 2, 2013; sentence – 30 days to 23 months in jail with credit for time served and $200 fine.

Jody L. Ellis, 56, 84 W. Wheeling St., Washington; possession with intent to deliver and possession of a controlled substance; charged Aug. 2; sentence – 23 months of Intermediate Punishment Program with first 6 months of electronic home monitoring and 12 months of probation.

Nicholas P. Heimel, 19, 1211 Leishman Ave., New Kensington; disorderly conduct and speeding; charged Aug. 31; sentence – $377 fine.

Brandon C. Green, 31, 3226 Motor St., Pittsburgh; possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with a suspended license; charged Aug. 19; sentence – 13 months of probation, 1 year license suspension and $200 fine.

Devon Johnson-Brown, 26, Duquesne; possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Dec. 16; sentence – 12 months of probation.

Appearing before Judge Michael Lucas:

Jessica N. Ribel, 37, Washington; retail theft; charged April 24, 2014; sentence – 2 years of probation, restitution and banned from Walmart.

Autumn M. Reynolds, 20, 44 Madison St., Cokeburg; theft and receiving stolen property; charged Feb. 14; sentence – 12 months in the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program, 50 hours of community service and no contact with victim.

Several people recently appeared in Washington County Court and were admitted in the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program for first offenses of driving under the influence. If they successfully complete the program, they can petition the court to have their records expunged. Admitted were:

David W. Henning, 32, 625B Geary St., Monongahela; Traci A. Benigni, 55, 6141 Brownsville Road Extension, Finleyville; Walter M. Mszyco, 25, 6914 Greenwood St., Pittsburgh; Cassandra M. Hirosky, 27, 195 Jollick Manor, Washington; Trey W. Haught, Fairview, W.Va.
