Account accessed: Molly Elias of Canonsburg told borough police Tuesday her husband’s bank card information was accessed and used to make a $100 purchase in Dublin, Ohio.

Man slashed: Andrew J. Baer, 29, of 2082 the Circle, Canton, was arrested Wednesday by state police on charges of aggravated assault, terroristic threats, simple assault and reckless endangerment for allegedly cutting Mark White with a knife during a confrontation at the residence. A witness said Baer got the knife out of his pocket and swung at White, hitting him in the arm. He also allegedly yelled he was going to kill White. White reportedly was able to get the knife from Baer and pin him to the ground until police arrived. Baer was arraigned before District Judge James Ellis and placed in Washington County jail on $50,000 bond. Police said White had lacerations on his arms.

Assault arrest: Austin Lee McCartney, 21, of 218 Key Ave., Canton, was arrested Wednesday by state police on charges of simple assault and harassment. He is accused of punching his fiancée, Maggie Francis, in the eye during a confrontation at their home. He was arraigned before District Judge James Ellis and placed in Washington County jail on $2,500 bond.

Drug arrest: William Koster II, 67, of 68 S. McKean Ave., Donora, is charged by city police with heroin possession with intent to deliver, heroin possession and marijuana possession, court records show. Police accuse him of hiding four bricks of heroin and a jar containing 6.16 grams of marijuana in a T-shirt about 8 p.m. Wednesday in a wooded area off the 300 block of Arizona Avenue. Koster is free on $7,500 unsecured bond set Thursday by District Judge Joseph Dalfonso.

Two injured: Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash about 11:15 a.m. Monday at the intersection of West Chestnut Street and North Ring Road. North Franklin police said Tammy Fluke, 51, of Everett, Bedford County, was going east on West Chestnut when she reportedly went through a red light and struck a vehicle driven by Michael Villers, 54, of 384 Tyler Ave., Washington, who was crossing north across West Chestnut from North Ring Road. Villers and a passenger, Mary Carter, 87, of Washington, were taken to Washington Hospital for treatment. Fluke will be charged with a red light violation. Villers will be charged with driving on a suspended license, and the owner of the vehicle Villers was driving, Grace Presto, also of 384 Tyler, will be charged with permitting a violation by allowing Villers to drive.

Furniture stolen: Bill Miller of Washington told Washington police Tuesday a four-piece bedroom set was stolen from property he owns in the 300 block of Donnan Avenue.

Money stolen: Raelene Kozey of Washington told Washington police Wednesday her husband used his debit card to make a $3.87 purchase at Kwik Fill, 705 E. Maiden St. When he got home, he discovered a $20 cash-back transaction had been added to the bill. Charges are pending.

Overdose suspected: Robert Chambers, 59, of 596 E. Maiden St., faces a charge of possession of paraphernalia after Washington police were called to his residence after he allegedly overdosed. Emergency medical personnel administered Narcan to him. Police said they confiscated two empty stamp bags and used needles.

Assault charges: Roy Johnson, 23, of 18 Strabane Ave., Canonsburg, faces charges of aggravated assault and simple assault in connection with a July 6 incident in which he allegedly choked Abigail Timm of Mt. Lebanon, at a residence at 16 Highland Ave., Washington police said.

Assault alleged: Brandi McCann, 37, of 711 Cleveland Road, Washington, faces charges of simple assault and harassment in connection with a July 14 incident at 720 Ewing St. in which she and a juvenile allegedly struck Nikki Lash, no address given, as Lash visited the residence, Washinton police said.
