Construction on Sunset Drive bridge, which spans a branch of Pike Run in West Pike Township, was completed and is now open to traffic. The new bridge is designed to last as long as 100 years.

The Sunset Drive bridge replacement is part of the Rapid Bridge Replacement Project, a public-private partnership between the state Department of Transportation and Plenary Walsh Keystone Partners under which PWKP will finance, design, replace and maintain for 25 years 558 bridges on state roadways. This approach will allow PennDOT to replace the bridges more quickly while achieving significant savings and minimizing impact on motorists.
