PennDOT maintenance schedule in Greene County
The state Department of Transportation announced the tentative work schedule for Greene County roads next week.
Maintenance activities are conducted weather permitting. Motorists should drive with caution through all work areas and be alert for signed work zones requiring headlights, Greene County maintenance manager Jerry Simkovic said.
• Bridge replacement on state Route 1021 in Cumberland Township.
• Bridge flushing on various routes in the western half of the county.
• Drainage and inlet repair on state Route 2017 in Cumberland Township.
• Shoulder stabilization on state Route 2002 in Perry Township.
• Drainage on state Route 3013 in Wayne Township and shoulder stabilization on Route 221 Morgan and Washington townships.
• Slide crew will have major slide repairs on state Route 3001 in Aleppo Township.
• Patching on state routes 3007 and 3018 in Richhill, Aleppo, Jackson and Center townships. Shoulder cutting on state Route 3022 in Richhill Township.
• Secondary roadway mowing will take place on various routes in the county.
• State roads will be reviewed and signs will be updated, downed signs will be replaced and concerns addressed on various state roads throughout the county.
