Chanler Bailey, a steel drum percussionist from Morgantown, W.Va., will perform from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. today at Greene County Fairgrounds as part of the Waynesburg Lions Club Sounds of Summer concert series. Those who attend are asked to bring old eyeglasses to donate to Lions Club. Nonperishable food items also will be collected to be donated to Greene County families. Pets and alcohol are prohibited at the concerts.

A country music concert will be held at the New Freeport fire hall from 7 to 10 p.m. Common Grounds and Pat Henderson will be performing. Admission is $4, and the ladies auxiliary is sponsoring the concert.
