Harassment charges: Sabrina Richards, 20, and Anthony T. Blanchard, 49, both of Bentleyville, will be charged with harassment by state police following an argument early Saturday at 206 Wilson Road, Bentleyville.

Building hit: Anthony W. Lent, 54, of LaBelle, escaped injury Saturday morning when he was driving north on Market Street, Brownsville, crossed into the southbound lane and hit a pickup truck driven by Daniel Davis, 38, of Hibbs. Lent’s car then went onto a sidewalk and struck a building, state police said. He will be cited for failure to drive on the right side of the road.

Disorderly charge: Jonathan Welsh, 19, of 16 Smallwood St., Eighty Four, was charged with disorderly conduct by Canonsburg police after he allegedly threw a box of rolled coins through an opening in a security window in the office of District Judge David Mark Friday. Welsh was just found guilty by Mark on charges of careless driving and driving a vehicle filed by borough police after a June 21 traffic stop. When he was told the office takes only exact change, he returned with $218.50 in rolled and loose coins. When he was told the office did not accept coins, he allegedly tossed the box through the window opening, and it fell on the floor, breaking open some of the wrappers. He left the building. Police took the money for safekeeping.

Warrant arrest: Sabrina Hancock, 28, whose last known address was in Beaver Falls, was taken into custody Saturday on a bench warrant issued by Beaver County courts for failure to appear. Police said she was staying at a home on Boyle Avenue, but the resident wanted her removed. It was determined she was wanted on a warrant, so she was placed in Washington County jail.

Windshield damaged: Gene Greenwood of 235 Spruce St. told Canonsburg police Saturday vandals broke the rear window on her car.

Account accessed: Lauryn Mockridge of Canonsburg told Canonsburg police Monday money was fraudulently withdrawn from her bank account.

Drug charges: Robert Lee Herring, 32, of 17 Mark Ave., Canton, was arraigned Wednesday before District Judge David Mark on charges of possession of cocaine, marijuana and paraphernalia filed by state police stemming from a compliance check at his home last August. He has been in Washington County jail since then after his parole was revoked. Mark set bond at $25,000 on the new charges.

Welfare fraud charge: Nicole Miller, 32, of 241 Miller Road, Canton, was charged last week in a private criminal complaint by the state Office of Inspector General with welfare fraud. She is accused of getting $7,427 in food stamps for which she was not eligible between Aug. 1, 2013, and Jan. 31, 2016. Miller allegedly failed to indicate she was employed during that time. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

Man jailed: Vernon Majors, 39, of 513 First St., Monessen, is charged by city police with drug possession, public drunkenness, indecent exposure, open lewdness, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct, court records show. Police accuse him of urinating in public about 12:45 a.m. Sunday at First Street and Donner Avenue. Majors allegedly had four grams of crack in his pocket. He is in Westmoreland County jail on $50,000 bond set by District Judge Jason Buczak.

Assault charge: Michael Kirk, 38, of 135 Union St., New Eagle, was charged by North Strabane police with aggravated assault and harassment after he allegedly hit an emergency room doctor in the chest at Canonsburg Hospital July 22. Police said the doctor was treating a woman who was not happy with the diagnosis. Kirk also allegedly filmed the doctor with his cellphone. The charges were sent Friday by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Drug charges: Caleb R. Nestor, 18, of 40 Sycamore St., Muse, was charged by North Strabane police with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia and underage drinking stemming from a July 18 incident at 19 Horseshoe Circle. Police said he was outside in a vehicle after officers were called for a reported underage drinking party. The charges were sent Friday by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Two charged: Joshua Lee Owens, 36, and Amy Sue Pershing, 42, both of 60 Carl Ave., Lot E10, were charged Saturday by North Strabane police after they allegedly caused a disturbance in the trailer park where they reside. Owens is charged with public drunkenness, disorderly conduct and trespass. Pershing is charged with public drunkenness.

Two arrested: John R. McFall, 39, of 114 Hamilton St., North Franklin Township, and Nathan Raymond, 28, who state police said is homeless, were arrested Sunday afternoon by state police on charges of criminal trespass, defiant trespass and theft after they allegedly were found stealing tools from the front porch and a shed at the home of Jennifer Morasco, Old Scales Road, South Franklin. Both were arraigned before District Judge James Ellis. Raymond is in Washington County jail on $50,000 bond, while McFall is in jail on $25,000 bond.

Charged in thefts: Shelbi Y. Black, 23, of Pittsburgh, was charged by South Strabane police with two counts of theft after she allegedly stole from two stores at Tanger Outlets July 19. She is accused of stealing $232.80 in clothing from Oshkosh B’Gosh and another $105.99 in clothing from The Children’s Place. Charges were sent Friday by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Theft charge: Latoya M. Smith, 30, of 1673 Streator Ave., South Strabane, was charged with felony retail theft by South Strabane police after she allegedly stole $120 in items from Kohl’s, Strabane Square, June 28. The charges were sent by summons Friday from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Car damaged: Veronica Sorice of Canonsburg told South Strabane police Saturday her car was damaged while parked in the Subway lot, Washington Road, while she was working.

Pump damaged: An employee of Ruff Creek Market, Murtland Avenue, told South Strabane police Saturday a vehicle damaged a gasoline pump and then fled. Security footage will be checked, police said.

Vehicle damaged: Lani Rae Adamson of 235 W. Chestnut St. told Washington police Sunday the driver’s side window of her vehicle was broken with a piece of cinder block.

Harassment charge: Todd Bowden, 56, of 161 E. Maiden St., Washington, will be charged with harassment by Washington police. He is accused of sending more than 100 text messages over a 24-hour period to Ruth Reese of Washington after being told not to contact her. Reese told police at least one of the messages was threatening.

Wallet stolen: James Garber of 1477 Allison Ave. told Washington police his wallet containing $300 was stolen from his home Saturday.

Door damaged: Rolanda Charlie of 695 Ewing St. told Washington police Friday a man threw a lawn chair through her screen door, shattering it. Charges are pending against the alleged vandal.

Wallet stolen: William McDonald of 24 Short St. told Washington police Friday his wallet containing $250 and credit cards was stolen from the console of his unlocked vehicle.

Drug charges: Dillon Alexander Oliver, 23, of 2021 Beham Ridge Road, Claysville, faces two charges of drug possession and a charge of driving with a suspended license following a July 8 traffic stop at Second Street and Allison Avenue in which police said Oliver was spotted driving a silver Ford Focus by an officer who knew he did not have a driver’s license. Police said two stamp bags of suspected heroin were found during the stop.
