Carmichaels Activities Center, also known as Carmichaels Senior Center, on Nemacolin Road will host a dance from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday featuring the Solid Gold trio. Admission is $8. The event benefits the center. For information, call 724-966-2290.
Jane Ross, who recently published a book called “The Life and Times of One Methodist Parsonage Family,” will be available to sign her books beginning at 4 p.m. Saturday during Khedive Day at Greene County Historical Museum.
The final day to register for the Run4Morgan 5K Run/Walk Sept. 10 along the Greene River Trail is Monday. Participants can sign up for the race at a registration rate of $20.
