Route 519 to close for a week
A section of Route 519 will be closed at the railroad crossing between Christy Road and Wilson Road in North Strabane Township beginning Aug. 4 and continuing through Aug.10. Railroad crews will be adding a siding track and upgrading warning devices.
A posted detour will be in place for local traffic under 10 tons using Thomas Eighty Four Road, Linden Road, Wilson Road and Route 519.
In addition, for traffic over 10 tons a posted detour will use Route 519, Route 19, Interstate 79, Route 136 and Route 519.
