Driver injured in I-70 crash
ROSTRAVER – A two-vehicle crash Wednesday morning on Interstate 70 West near Sunny Avenue sent a driver to the hospital along with a careless driving charge, state police said.
The crash, which happened around 9 a.m. at mile marker 42, involved a vehicle driven by James McLaughlin, 58, of Mt. Pleasant. He suffered an undisclosed injury in the crash and was taken by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment.
McLaughlin was charged with careless driving, police said, after crashing into an International Harvester PennDOT barrier truck driven by Kerry Watkins, 64, of Youngwood.
