Man sentenced to almost 26 years for images of teen girls
PITTSBURGH (AP) – A man already serving 15 to 30 years in state prison for repeatedly raping two teenage girls has now been sentenced to almost 26 years in federal prison for taking dozens of nude pictures of the victims.
A federal judge imposed the 310-month sentence Wednesday on 39-year-old David Kinteay Carson but made it concurrent to his state prison sentence.
The Uniontown man pleaded guilty in January to the federal charges, which carried a 15-year mandatory minimum term.
One of the girls testified in the state court case that Carson made her use eye drops because she was crying after one assault. Police contend that Carson apologized and offered one girl $20 to not report him and also threatened harm to the girls’ families if they told on him.
