Douglas Gudenburr

Ringgold High School will graduate 234 seniors at commencement exercises today at 7 p.m. at Joe Montana Stadium, weather permitting. In case of inclement weather, ceremonies will be held in the high school gymnasium.

There will be 10 valedictorians. They are Douglas Gudenburr, Mercedes Holets, Abigale Lewis, Megan McKenzie, Christopher O’Connor, Mariah Otto, Allison Pruitt, Victoria Segeleon, Katherine Sendek and Brooke Vollmer.

Speaking at graduation will be Gudenburr, Holets, Kohl, Lewis and Sendek.

Gudenburr, the son of Doug and Jill Gudenburr of Finleyville, will be attending The Citadel to pursue a degree in mechanical engineering and to wrestle.

Holets, daughter of John and Joan Holets of Monongahela, will be attending Seton Hill University to pursue a degree in math education.

Lewis, of New Eagle, is the daughter of Duane Lewis and Melissa Terrant, and will be attending Duquesne University to pursue a degree in pharmacy.

McKenzie, daughter of Mark and Rebecca McKenzie of Finleyville, will be attending the University of Pittsburgh to pursue a degree in speech language pathology.

O’Connor, son of Matt and Sue O’Connor of Eighty Four, will be attending the University of Pittsburgh to pursue a degree in mechanical engineering.

Otto, daughter of James and Donna Otto of Eighty Four, will be attending Washington & Jefferson College to pursue a degree in communications.

Pruitt, daughter of Mike and Joyce Pruitt of Monongahela, will be attending Penn State University to pursue a degree in business.

Segeleon, of Finleyville, is the daughter of Mike Segeleon and Tonia Groff and will be attending Duquesne University to pursue a degree in pharmacy.

Sendek, daughter of Thomas and Jennifer Sendek of Monongahela, will be attending Boston University to pursue a degree in neuroscience.

Vollmer, daughter of Amy and Gary Vollmer of Finleyville, will be attending the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown to pursue a degree in biology.
