MCKEES ROCKS, Pa. (AP) — Authorities in western Pennsylvania say two people died in a crash just after dawn near a Pittsburgh bridge.

Officials said the wreck on Route 65 near the McKees Rocks bridge involved multiple vehicles and was reported shortly before 5:30 a.m. Saturday.

The city medical examiner’s office said the crash occurred on the border of the city’s Brighton Heights and Marshall-Shadeland neighborhoods.

The victims’ names and other details about the accident weren’t immediately available.

Authorities said the crash occurred at roughly the same place where two men who had been shot were found dead in a car the day before.
