CHARLEROI – Police officers serving an arrest warrant on a Charleroi woman said they discovered heroin, crack, Oxycontin and a small amount of marijuana in her apartment Friday.

Arrested were Quess Tyrae Golden, 23, and Tyrique Littlehawk Jackson-Crosby, 19, both of Apartment 19 in Washington Gardens, 601 Fallowfield Ave., court records show.

Officers went to the apartment about 9 a.m. to take Golden into custody for her failure to appear in court in Allegheny County on charges of theft and receiving stolen property filed by Leetsdale police in April 2014, court records indicate.

Jackson-Crosby answered the door and allowed police inside, where they found Golden asleep in a bedroom.

Police said they asked for permission to search the residence after officers noticed a marijuana grinder and a small amount of the drug on a table in the bedroom. Golden did not give them permission to search her residence, prompting police to return an hour later with a search warrant signed by District Judge Larry Hopkins.

Police said officers seized the following items from the residence: two small bags of crack in a bedroom and another bag of the drug on top of the refrigerator in the kitchen; a loaded .22-caliber handgun in a bedroom safe; Oxycontin in a clear plastic bag, five stamp bags of heroin; and $652.

In a related case, police said they observed a hand-to-hand exchange at the apartment about 7:30 p.m. a day earlier between Jackson-Crosby and Leonard Skubic, 42, of 605 Fallowfield Ave., court records show.

Police approached Skubic that night, and he allegedly ran from them. He was eventually apprehended and accused of possessing two small bags of crack. He also is charged with flight and possessing drug paraphernalia in a summons filed before Hopkins.

Jackson-Crosby and Golden are charged with drug possession with intent to deliver, drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia. Golden also is charged with possessing a small amount of marijuana. She is in Washington County jail on $100,000 bond set by Hopkins, who sent Jackson-Crosby to jail on $125,000 bond.
