Southwestern Pennsylvania Water Authority will shut off water service in Rices Landing on Bayard Avenue and Crucible Road, along with surrounding areas, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday to perform system upgrades. Customers in that area might experience low pressure or no water service, so they should keep some containers of water available to minimize any disruption.
”An Appalachian Dawn,” the movie that tells the story of a Kentucky town and its battle against drug addiction, will be will be shown in its entirety at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Harvey-Aleppo Grange.
