Jewelry stolen: Alisa McGant of 514 Valley View Terrace told Canonsburg police Sunday she found a man who she allowed to stay the night on her couch in her bedroom without her permission. She said he had her coins and jewelry. He returned the coins but not all of the jewelry. She also found about 20 pills of her prescription medication had been stolen. Police are investigating.

Card used: Patricia Wilkins of Canonsburg told Canonsburg police Saturday her missing bank card was used to make three purchases in Canonsburg and Carnegie over the last few days. Police are trying to obtain surveillance tapes from the businesses, including Walmart in Carnegie.

Drug charge: Robert J. Gallo, 58, of 346 1/2 W. College St., Canonsburg, was charged Thursday by Canonsburg police with possession of Suboxone and paraphernalia stemming from a May 14 traffic stop at Crosby and Park drives. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

Burglary arrest: Danielle Rae Dyson, 39, of Washington, was arrested Saturday on a warrant obtained by state police on charges of burglary, criminal trespass, theft and defiant trespass. She is accused of entering the home of David O’Bryan, 222 Key Ave., Canton, on May 24 and stealing two bottles of his prescription medication. Neighbors reportedly saw her inside the home. She was arraigned before District Judge Robert Redlinger and placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond.

Mower stolen: William B. Austin of 159 Hawkins St., Canton, told state police Thursday his Toro lawn mower was stolen from his shed.

Items stolen: Russell and Cheri Dull of 177 Castle Road, Canton, told state police tools, jewelry, a coin collection and a lawn mower were stolen in a burglary of their home June 6. Police said it appears the burglar entered through an unlocked window.

Drug charges: Samuel Kusaj, 45, of Fallowfield Avenue, Charleroi, was charged Thursday by Charleroi Regional police with possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia after he allegedly was found with a stamp bag of suspected heroin in the 600 block of Fallowfield Avenue. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Larry Hopkins.

Threats, harassment charges: Ashley N. Carlile, 28, of 590 Lone Pine Road, Washington, was charged Thursday by Chartiers police with terroristic threats and harassment. She is accused of sending Cassie Matusky of Chartiers a Facebook message on June 2 indicating she was going to assault her. She also reportedly called Matusky names, police said. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

Man captured: Joshua W. Spires, 31, of 303 11th St., Donora, is charged by city police with flight, resisting arrest, tampering with evidence, possession of drug paraphernalia, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct, court records show. Spires is accused of running from police after they found him lying on a stoop about 11:30 a.m. Friday at First Street and Schoonmaker Avenue. An officer chased him onto Long Alley, where he was taken to the ground by a second officer. Spires is in Westmoreland County jail on $15,000 bond set by District Judge Joseph Dalfonso. He also is jailed on a bench warrant.

Warrant arrest: Anthony Henry Johnson, 59, of McKeesport, was picked up Thursday by North Strabane police at the Double Tree, 340 Racetrack Road, on a warrant for failure to appear for a hearing. He was placed in Washington County jail.

Items stolen: Nancy Jean Zummo of Pittsburgh told North Strabane police early Monday prescription eyeglasses, a glasses case and a wallet were stolen from her vehicle while it was parked at The Meadows Casino, 200 Racetrack Road.

Man shocked: Thurl Isley, 37, no address available, was shocked while working Friday afternoon at the MarkWest plant, 2205 Quicksilver Road, Robinson, McDonald police said. Isley, who is employed by Siemens, was subcontracted to do electrical work to upgrade the switch gear on a well pad. Isley, who was unconscious, was taken to West Penn Hospital by Fort Cherry Ambulance. An ambulance dispatcher told police Isley suffered moderate to severe burns. No information on his condition was immediately available.

Alleged gun threat: Robert J. Russell Sr., 33, of 305 Mathews Road, Rostraver, is charged by township police with aggravated assault, terroristic threats, reckless endangerment, simple assault, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness, court records show. Russell is accused of pointing a BB gun at Brandon Perine and demanding he place a phone call while Perine was in his parked vehicle about 10:50 p.m. Sunday at Rostraver Apartments. Russell is in Westmoreland County jail on $15,000 bond set Monday by District Judge Joseph Dalfonso.

Club cited: The operators of Slovenic Benefit Singing Society, 221 Walnut St., Collinsburg, were cited last week by the state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement for selling alcoholic beverages to nonmembers in late March and April 1.

DUI alleged in crash: Matthew D. Arbogast, 32, of Washington, is facing a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol after a crash about 9 p.m. Sunday in the 600 block of Davis School Road. South Strabane police said his vehicle sheared off a utility pole and rolled over. When officers arrived, they said they found him staggering around the vehicle. He was not injured but was taken to Canonsburg Hospital, where police said blood was drawn to determine his level of intoxication. South Strabane firefighters assisted at the scene.

Items damaged: Leigh Cecchine of 895 Fayette St. told Washington police a man who lived with her ripped out her satellite television box and broke a window in the back door Monday. Charges of criminal mischief and harassment are pending.

Man assaulted: Rickey Watters, 20, of Grove Avenue, Washington, told Washington police he was assaulted early Sunday by one of two women who had been following him as he walked home. He told police one of the women threw a ceramic bowl at his face, injuring his eye. He went to Washington Hospital and was later transferred to a Pittsburgh hospital for evaluation.

Chicken, cake stolen: Bernette Moore of 143 Church St. told Washington police Sunday her home was entered and chicken and old birthday cake were stolen from her refrigerator. The refrigerator door was left open.

Cable box damaged: Raelan Day of 765 Henderson Ave. told Washington police Friday her Comcast box was damaged when a piece of wood around her window air-conditioning unit was pushed in and landed on it.

Two charged: Georgia Zawatski, 32, and Joseph Ferguson, 49, both of 870 Broad St., were charged by Washington police after an altercation at their home Saturday. Zawatski was charged with disorderly conduct. Ferguson was charged with harassment.

Children hit with glass: Alicia Edwards of Ridge Avenue told Washington police Friday her boyfriend smashed a window of her vehicle while her children, ranging in age from 6 weeks to 6 years, were inside the vehicle, which was parked in the 900 block of Catfish Avenue. Two of the four children were cut by the flying glass. Police plan to charge him.

Donations stolen: A box of snuff and a bag of donations were reported stolen Friday from Goodwill, 89 Jefferson Ave., Washington police said.

Bicycle stolen: Michael Parks of 40 McAdam Ave. told Washington police Friday his gray and green mountain bicycle was stolen from outside his home.

PFA violation alleged: Matthew Phillip Angelone, 39, of West Brownsville, was arrested Saturday by West Brownsville police for allegedly violating a protection-from-abuse order obtained by Marsha Kovach by returning to an apartment at 252 Middle St. after being banned from the property in the order signed by Judge Gary Gilman. He had been told earlier in the morning by police to stay away. Angelone was arraigned before District Judge Robert Redlinger and placed in Washington County jail on $5,000 bond.
