Flash flood warning issued for area

The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch all of Southwestern Pennsylvania, including Washington and Greene counties, from 11 p.m. today through 11 a.m. Thursday. Storms are expected to arrive in the area tonight, with the heaviest rain after midnight through 7 a.m. Up to 2.5 inches of rain could fall in a short time, which could cause streams and creeks, as well as roads, to flood.
