1 min read

MONROEVILLE (AP) – Police said two victims are not cooperating with investigators after they were shot outside a Western Pennsylvania strip mall.

Allegheny County police don’t know how or why the shooting occurred outside a Miracle Ear store in a tiny plaza in Monroeville, about 15 miles east of Pittsburgh.

Police said the two male victims drove themselves to a hospital shortly after they were shot just before 2 p.m. Tuesday. Their injuries are not life-threatening.

The plaza is also home to a UPS Store and a salon. The hearing aid store and salon were hit by gunfire, but nobody inside either business was hurt.

Police do not believe any of the businesses were targeted.

Police also do not know whether the shooter or shooters fired from a passing car or from another location.
